Agreement to Terms

By purchasing artwork, prints, or digital products (“Art”) from this website or directly from Julia Hagen or Julia Hagen Art Inc. (“Artist”), the customer (“Buyer”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases, downloads, commissions, and art acquired through any platform owned or operated by the Artist.

Copyright & Ownership

All artwork is the intellectual property of the Artist.
The copyright and all reproduction rights remain exclusively with:

  • Julia Hagen

  • Julia Hagen Art Inc.

  • Julia Hagen Art Inc. (d/b/a Julia Hagen Art)

No transfer of copyright or ownership of reproduction rights is granted at any time unless a separate written licensing agreement is signed by the Artist.

Usage Rights Granted to Buyer

Upon purchase, Buyer is granted personal-use rights only, which include:

  • Displaying the Art in private homes, offices, or personal spaces

  • Sharing images of the Art on social media only if credit is clearly given to the Artist (e.g., tagging @juliahagenart or citing the Artist name)

Buyer is not permitted to use the Art for any commercial purposes.

Prohibited Uses

Buyer agrees not to:

  • Replicate, copy, trace, digitize, or reproduce the Art in any form

  • Distribute the Art or reproductions of the Art for free or for sale

  • Mint the Art into NFTs or any blockchain-based assets

  • Use the Art on merchandise, apparel, packaging, branding, or products of any kind

  • Upload the Art to stock image, print-on-demand, AI training, or reproduction platforms

  • Alter the Art and present it as original work

  • License or sub-license the Art to third parties

Legal Enforcement

Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of the Art is a violation of copyright law and will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by U.S. and international intellectual property law. Buyer acknowledges that damages may include statutory fines, legal fees, and loss of access to future purchases.

Resale of Physical Artwork

Buyer may resell original physical artwork only, provided that:

  • The Art itself is not reproduced or copied in any way

  • Buyer does not claim copyright ownership

  • Buyer does not sell reproductions or derivative products

Commissions

Commissioned Art remains the copyright of the Artist. Buyer may not reproduce or distribute commissioned work unless explicitly licensed in writing.

Refunds & Cancellations

All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Commission refunds and cancellations are subject to separate commission agreements.

Acceptance

By completing a purchase, Buyer confirms they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
